We bought our home three years ago. It has an interlocking metal roof installed which we think is great. However we noticed that given the profile of the roof near the entry something needed to be done to stop snow from falling onto the entry porch. We contacted Interlock and they recommended a pair of snow bars. Their crew installed the two bars in short order at a very reasonable price. Since then, we have not had any further issue with snow falling onto the entry porch even with the recent several snowfalls. It was a great solution to our problem.

I have a new roof installed by Interlock and very pleased with the professionalism and aesthetics. My builder roof lasted 12 years and I needed something more durable. I spent months talking to steel roof installers and the thing that bothered me most, is whether the company will be around long enough to support warranty issues. The coatings were also prone to fading and I was looking for a worry free product. My research led me to select aluminum roofing with PVDF coating for durability and resistance to Color fade. The lifetime transferable warranty and fact that Interlock has been in business for over 40 years led me to contact the company. Interlock staff are courteous and Bruce gave a very fair price with a no pressure quote. My roof has some features that could affect aesthetics and Bruce arranged for special considerations at those locations. The installers were very courteous, and took the time necessary to do a great installation. They respected my views as a home owner and provided regular updates on progress and solutions. The installers cleaned up debris at the end of each day and coordinated with my neighbours to minimize impact from the roofing job. When rain was in the forecast the crew worked tirelessly to complete roofing sections that would be vulnerable to rainfall. Overall I am pleased with everyone’s efforts and now hope the roof will be durable for many years.
WARNING ⚠️ CHECK THE REST BECAUSE INTERLOCK IS NOT THE BEST.We hired interlock roofing to install aluminum roof years ago which they did we require them to remove the old roof and plywood which we found out later they did not.We noticed in the spring of 2024 that the back of the roof was starting to sink we contact interlock and another couple roofing company about what is going on. The other companies sent out there technician no charge to inspect the attic and roof they said you have a mold problem on the plywood and your roof is sinking because of it and we only have 2 plastic vents on aluminum roof they said you're roof is almost 1700 square foot minimum vents for the square foot is 5 metal vents not plastic we are now getting EDUCATED ON ROOFING INSTALLATION.We contact interlock they said they would not charge us the service fee to send a technician to see what the issue are WOW WE FELT PRIVILEGE since we paid them lots of money to have a professional aluminum roofing installation done right, the technician went in the attic he went on the roof and concluded there is a problem with mold because he said you require more vents on the roof he said that would help with the mold i said thanks for the advice but I think we are past that now wouldn't you say. I call interlock spoke too a very nice lady she informed me that the technician said the vents were not the problem but the baffles were blocked by the insulation and the warranty wouldn't cover this WOW WHAT DOES LIFE TIME WARRANTY MEAN I guess not my life IF YOU DO NOT STAND BY YOUR PRODUCT AND WORKMANSHIP YOU SHOULD NOT OFFER LIFE TIME WARRANTY. We hired a great PROFESSIONAL ROOFING COMPANY to remove the aluminum roof plywood and shingles and install a new roof.The crew arrived on schedule and to their surprise they told me they found and removed 4 layers of shingles 2 layers of plywood no ice shield was put down but lots of interlock boxes nailed to the plywood thanks interlock for preventing all those boxes from going to the landfill I guess interlock save money on a dumpster I would like to thank interlock for the money we were able to get for the aluminum roof that we sent for scrap medal. WARNING ⚠️ AGAIN CHECK THE REST AND FINE THE BEST ROOFING COMPANY BUT IT IS NOT INTERLOCK. CHECK OUT THE PICTURE'S.We needed 6 bins to remove all the garbage from the roof, they install new 2×6 on the trusses because the roof sank almost 2 inches from the weight plus we needed to take a loan for the new install of the roof $52000 later we like to Thanks interlock for the burden you put us in still no apologie from them WOW. Your technician if that's what you want to call him he can not see well because he said there were no vents there was 2 vents that your so called roofers installed did not remove the four layers of shingles, two layers of plywood plus all the boxes that were nail down on the roof the blow in insulation was not blocking the baffles that was not the issue the issue was the lack of of ventilation. The biggest problem with your company is the lack of remorse you guys should show some sort of accountability, should not hire a third party to install your aluminum roof charging the customer a premium,hire full-time roofers. !WARNING LOOK FOR A ROOFING COMPANY THAT HAS FULL TIME ROOFER THAT WORK FOR THE COMPANY AND THAT THE COMPANY STAND S BY THERE WORKMANSHIP OR YOU WILL HAVE TO RE ROOF YOUR ROOF JUST LIKE WE DID DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH INTERLOCK YOU WILL RECRET IT !
